What are user groups and how do I create them?

User groups are used to give users at the charging facility access to different pricing. Many will only need one user group for residents, while others may also have groups for guests, shared cars, or similar. There is no limit to how many user groups and tariffs you can create, and pricing can be customized as needed. 

How to create a user group 

Select User Groups from the menu on the left and choose Create User Group. Name the user group so that it is recognizable based on which tariff it will be connected to (for example, “Guests”). Once the name is entered, click Create User Group

How to add someone to a user group 

With invitation 

Click Invites in the left-hand menu and then Create Invite. Fill in the form with the email address of the user who will gain access to the charging facility and be added to the user group. 

If you want to grant access to several users at once, click the three dots next to the Create Invite button and select Create Bulk Partner Invites, which allows you to add multiple email addresses at the same time. 


Make sure that Allow access to private charge points is checked so the user will be able to see the charge points at the facility. 

Already invited 

If a user has already been invited to the charging facility, you can add them to a user group by selecting User Groups from the menu on the left and clicking on the name of the group you want to add them to. 

Click Attach User, search for the user by email or name, and press Attach User when the correct user appears. If you want to add more users, you can select Create & Attach Another
